(a) Parents must introduce God to their children and help them grow in their walk with God

(b) Parents must bring children to Jesus because Jesus loves and accepts children

(b1) Luke 18:16 Jesus called for the children, saying, “Let the little children come to me and do not try to stop them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these

2. It is possible that parents can misuse their God-given responsibility

(a) Drive to resentment
(b) Create stress
(c) Irritate
(d) Provoke
(e) Over-zealous
(f) Object of releasing their anger
(g) Imposing extreme discipline to the extent of losing the children

3. Instead of facilitating faith in their children, parents’ behavior can cause children’s growth and aversion toward God
