1. Verse 1a “When humankind began to multiply on the face of the earth” points back to Gen 1:28 “be fruitful and multiply
a. Adam’s generations multiplied (one side of God’s blessings), but the multiplication did not go in the way God wanted them to

2. Verse 2 “the sons of God saw that the daughters of humankind were beautiful. Thus, they took wives for themselves from any they chose”
a. Relationships that are not part of the plan of God were happening!

Takeaway:
1. Check your associations and influences and avoid disappointing God (who is your influencer?)
a. Move away from those who will take you away from God
